The Workshop

The Workshop is Aura Mixer's built-in library of shareable audio setups: ready-made presets and packs you download and apply in one click. Where a preset is one processor and a scene is your whole mixer, a pack sits in between — a multi-processor recipe for a single strip.

Open it with Workshop in the menu bar. It has two tabs — 🌐 Workshop (browse online) and 📁 Installed (your library).

The list on the left is the online catalog; pick an item to see its details on the right:

• a description, a graphical preview of its values, and its author and download count;
• a target badge telling you what it's for at a glance — an input channel, a 5.1 / 7.1 surround channel, an output bus, or CH · BUS for things (like EQ) that fit either.

Filter the list with the search box, the type chips, and tags; sort by popularity, name or type. ⬇ Get downloads the item into your Installed library — it never touches your mix until you apply it.

What's a pack?

A pack is a whole recipe in one item — several processors configured at once. The WARZONE — Footstep Pack, for example, sets a binaural spatial fold, a footstep-shaping EQ and a loudness boost, and switches the channel's gate and compressor off — all from a single apply.

The detail panel shows a pack as a tree: every stage lists what it sets (or turns off) with its own short description and a preview, so you see exactly what a pack will do before you apply it.

Packs know what they target:

• a surround pack (it folds 7.1 game audio down to headphones) applies only to a 5.1 / 7.1 channel;
• a bus pack (EQ / limiter / delay) applies to an output bus.

The apply picker only offers strips that fit, so you can't drop a surround fold onto a mono mic by accident.

Your library — the 📁 Installed tab

Everything you've downloaded or created lives here. Select an item, choose a strip in the Apply to: picker, then:

• ▶ Apply — applies it to that strip. A pack overwrites the strip's whole chain, so it asks you to confirm first; a single preset applies straight away. You can also apply just one stage of a pack from its tree (the ▶ on each row) instead of the whole thing.
• ⬆ Update — appears when the Workshop has a newer version of an item you own; one click pulls the fix in.
• ✕ — removes the item from your local library (asks to confirm). Re-download it from the Workshop any time.

Don't like one stage of a pack you own? You don't have to rebuild the whole thing — edit it in place from its tree:

• ⟲ Re-capture a stage — replace its saved values with the current settings of the strip you're tuning right now (dial it in live, then snapshot just that stage).
• ✕ on a stage — drop that one stage from the pack.
• Notes — add or edit a short note on any stage.
• A spatial stage also gets a quick-edit for its HRTF model (switch between Generic / Enhanced / Immersive + profile) without re-capturing the whole stage.

Built-in (Aura) presets and packs stay read-only — in-place editing is for your own downloaded or created items.
