Shortcuts & Gestures
Aura Mixer is mouse-driven, and a handful of gestures work everywhere. Learn these five and the whole app speeds up.
Universal control gestures
Almost every control answers to the same handful of gestures:

ℹ️ Faders are gesture-only
The big channel faders are drag / wheel / double-click only — they have no type-in box. The numeric type-in lives on the rotary knobs and the labelled slider rows.
Per-area gestures
Faders & strips
- SELECT — open a strip in the config screen.
- M / S — mute / solo; ● CLR SOLO (monitor bar) clears all solos.
- DIM (monitor bar) — drop your monitoring −20 dB.
Equalizer
- Drag a point on the curve — up/down to boost/cut, left/right to change frequency.
- Band badges — click to select; + adds a band, ✕ deletes the selected one; each band has its own ON / OFF.
FX rack
- Drag a node left/right — changes its position in the signal chain.
- + Node ▾ — add an effect; ON / OFF on a node — bypass just that effect; × — remove a user insert.
Presets
- PRESET ▾ — open the preset menu on any processor.
- Double-click a preset name (in Workshop ▸ Installed) — rename it (Enter / Esc).
Channel Manager
- Drag the ⠿ handle — reorder channels, buses or groups.
Window & tray
- ✕ — minimizes to the system tray by default (audio keeps running).
- Left-click the tray icon — restore the window; right-click — Show / Quit.
💡 No keyboard shortcuts
There are no fixed keyboard shortcuts in this version — everything is on screen. The gestures above are the fast path.
