The Channel Manager

The Channel Manager — Channels in the menu bar — is where the mixer's population is decided: which strips exist and in what order. Three tabs: 🎤 INPUTS, 🔊 OUTPUTS, 🎚 VCA GROUPS.

Adding

Each tab follows the same recipe:

1. Pick a type from the dropdown:
   • Inputs: 🎙 PHYS (microphone / line-in / virtual cable) · 🔄 LOOP (WASAPI loopback) · 🎯 APP (application loopback) — chooser's guide in Input Channels.
   • Outputs: 🎧 PHYS (physical output / virtual cable) · 🎥 APP (application capture — OBS/Discord, no cable).
2. Optionally type a name — skip it and you get a sensible default you can rename later in SETUP.
3. + Add.

The new strip appears in the mixer immediately. Its source or destination device isn't picked yet — that happens on the strip's SETUP tab, which is usually your next stop.

Limits

How many strips you can add depends on your plan. The counter next to the Add button (e.g. 2 / 4) always shows your current ceiling, and + Add disables when you reach it:

• Free — currently 4 input channels and 2 output buses; VCA groups are Premium-only.
• Premium — raises the ceilings to the app maximum (32 inputs · 15 buses + Main L+R · 8 VCA groups). An ⭐ Premium = unlimited link by the counter opens the upgrade page.

Reordering

Grab the ⠿ handle and drag a row up or down — the mixer strips follow the same order. Keep the things you touch most where your eyes land first; a common layout is mics left, then apps, then utility channels.

Removing

Click ✕ on a row, confirm with ✓ Delete. Removal takes the strip's settings, processing and routing with it — there is no undo (though a scene saved earlier remembers the full layout).

The Main L+R bus is not listed for deletion — the mixer always keeps its master bus.
